Insight on Today's Quote
I think about all the selves I’ve been. Versions of me that were loud, quiet, reckless, curious, defeated, alive. And sometimes I wonder—where did they go? Did I outgrow them, or just misplace them?
Then a city happens. Not always far. Just unfamiliar enough to dislodge the dust. Different rhythm. Strangers who don’t expect anything from you. Suddenly you remember: “Oh. I used to laugh like this. I used to walk into bookstores like I belonged there. I used to dream bigger than I dared say out loud.”
Maybe the old you isn’t gone. Maybe they’re just waiting for new streets to walk on.
Ever think the version of you that felt most alive might be dormant—not dead? What if a few blocks in a city you’ve never met are holding the key to someone you forgot was you?
Step Up To The Challenge
Take a different route. Walk into a place you never do—coffee shop, museum, park, thrift store, whatever. Sit. Watch. Let your old self catch up.
