“Progress prefers persistent people.“

Reflection on Today's Quote

Progress doesn’t chase after you. It’s not the overly helpful friend dragging you out of bed. It’s more like the quiet one sitting at the finish line, waiting to see if you’ll show up again tomorrow. Talent is great, timing helps, but persistence? That’s the currency progress actually accepts. The truth is, it doesn’t care if you move slow. It just cares that you keep moving—when it’s inconvenient, when nobody notices, when you’re sick of the whole thing. You can bargain, take breaks, even doubt yourself in the middle of it. But stop showing up, and progress stops too.

You don’t win because you were the fastest. You win because you refused to quit long enough for the door to finally open.

Step Up To The Challenge

Pick one thing you’ve been avoiding because it feels “too small to matter.” Do it today anyway—and then again tomorrow. See what happens when persistence starts to notice you. (1, 2, 3, 4)
