Insight on Today's Quote
It’s easy to think the biggest problem is “having the wrong belief.” But a lot of life gets stuck not because you’re totally wrong… but because you zoom in on one part of the story and treat it like the whole thing. Today, notice where your mind keeps circling the same worry, assumption, or “what if.” Then widen the lens: What else is true right now? What evidence do you have? What good reasons are also on the table? Often, clarity shows up when you stop feeding the one loud thought and start listening to the quieter facts. (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)
Step Up To The Challenge
Pick one belief you’ve been repeating lately (about yourself, someone else, or a situation). Then do this:
Write it in one sentence.
List 3 pieces of evidence FOR it.
List 3 pieces of evidence AGAINST it (or alternative explanations).
Rewrite the belief into a fairer, more complete version that includes both sides.
Take one small action that fits the updated belief (send the message, make the plan, do the first step).
If you want, paste your “one sentence belief” here and I’ll help you rewrite it into a stronger, more balanced version.
