Robert Louis Stevenson – Quote of the Day for May 30, 2025

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.“
— Robert Louis Stevenson

Reflection on Today's Quote

Seeds don’t sprout on command. You don’t plant kindness and instantly see a friendship. You don’t give your best at work and instantly get a promotion. You don’t speak life into your child and immediately see wisdom bloom. But that doesn’t mean your work is wasted.

See, the seed knows what it’s doing. It’s working in the dark, below the surface, when you’ve already forgotten where you left it. What matters is the planting. Showing up with integrity, even when no one notices. Speaking encouragement, even if it lands quietly. Praying, loving, serving—even if no one claps.

You’re not called to measure the fruit. That’s not your job. Just keep planting. Water it with faith. Let God handle the growing part.

Step Up To The Challenge

Plant one intentional seed—something small, unseen, and meaningful.

✔ Write a thank-you note to someone who’s made a difference in your life, even if it’s been years.
✔ Help someone without telling anyone.
✔ Start a habit that your future self will thank you for: read a page, take a walk, pray, budget, stretch.
✔ Forgive someone in your heart, even if they don’t know it.

Do it not for applause. Not for fast results. Just because seeds matter. Even the invisible ones. (123456789101112)
